The lovers of Shaheed Udham Singh alias Mohammad Singh Azad, S/Shri Fauja Singh Thind, Nanak Chand Kamboj, Karnail Singh Josan, Gian Singh and Bhagat singh nandha in its preliminary meeting dated 04-09-1977, thought seriously that there is no bhawan in the name of great Martyr Udham Singh at Chandigarh as well as in Punjab and Haryana. They resolved that the society in the name of shaheed Udham Singh should be formed to erect a BHAWAN in his memory at Chandigarh.
